His vision for international education pairs accessible educational resources with an in-depth grasp of local economic and social demands. Through institutional alliances, curriculum development and resource integration, he facilitates collaboration between Chinese vocational education and overseas education systems, nurturing talent to underpin cross-border industrial partnerships.

Chinese Language Education as a Bridge Between Cultures
Mr. Kang views Chinese language education as the foundation for international understanding and cooperation. In 2013, he founded a Chinese language college, embedding language education into the Group’s international development strategy. His goal is to turn language into a bridge linking cultures, education systems and opportunities.
He advocates integrating Chinese language learning with professional education and real-world practice via a ” Chinese Language + Vocational Skills” framework. This model enables learners to build linguistic proficiency alongside occupational capability, while deepening their understanding of Chinese culture and modern China. Fostering dialogue and cooperation among young people from diverse countries remains the core of his educational vision.

An International Network for Skills Development and Cultural Exchange
Mr. Kang’s educational career began with the founding of Guangzhou Weicheng Technology and Vocational College, which later evolved into Guangzhou International Economics College. He has since extended the Group’s educational reach to Japan, Georgia and Singapore, broadening its offerings into rehabilitation, medicine and healthcare education.
Within this network, he promotes resource sharing and inter-institutional collaboration, aiming to connect language learning, professional education, hands-on training and progression pathways for further studies. His approach to the internationalisation of Chinese vocational education emphasises adapting educational know-how to local contexts and advancing cooperation in curriculum design, faculty development and teaching methodologies. By integrating skills training and cultural exchange, he aims to cultivate professionals equipped with both occupational expertise and cross-cultural communication and collaboration capabilities.

Singapore as a Hub for Global Educational Collaboration
In 2024, Mr. Kang acquired SSTC Institute in Singapore and assumed the role of its Chairman, further pushing forward the Group’s international education strategy. Recognising Singapore’s pivotal position connecting China, Southeast Asia and the broader global education community, he positions SSTC as a key platform for international curriculum partnerships, student exchanges and cross-border talent development. Guided by the educational philosophy “Start Here, Embrace the World“, Mr. Kang is dedicated to expanding opportunities through education, supporting industrial cooperation via talent development, and enhancing mutual understanding through language and cultural exchange. His long-term vision is an international education network that embraces global perspectives while meaningfully addressing local needs.
