These courses have been designed to prepare international students for admission to mainstream primary and secondary schools in Singapore. Students will be taught English and Mathematics subjects in preparation for the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) and Supplementary AEIS (S-AEIS) examinations. Students who are successful in the AEIS or S-AEIS exams will receive an offer from a government school.

Classes are held Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (inclusive of recess and lunch break).
For Primary 2: aged 7 to 9+ years old as of 1 January of the intended commencement year in the government school. Passed English at Year 1 and completed Year 1 or its equivalent in their respective countries. *Please enrol your interest with us.*
For Primary 3: aged 8 to 10+ years old as of 1 January of the intended commencement year in the government school. Passed English at Year 2 and completed Year 2 or its equivalent in their respective countries. *Please register your interest with us.*
For Primary 4: aged 9 to 11+ years old as of 1 January of the intended commencement year in the government school. Passed English at Year 3 and completed Year 3 or its equivalent in their respective countries. *Please register your interest with us.*
For Primary 5: aged 10 to 12+ years old as of 1 January of the intended commencement year in the government school. Passed English at Year 4 and completed Year 4 or its equivalent in their respective countries.*Please register your interest with us.*
For Secondary 1: between 12 to 14+ years. Passed English at Year 6 and completed Year 6 or its equivalent in their respective countries.
For Secondary 2: between 13 to 15+ years. Passed English at Year 7 and completed Year 7 or its equivalent in their respective countries.
For Secondary 3: between 14 to 16+ years. Passed English at Year 8 and completed Year 8 or its equivalent in their respective countries.
After applying, students are required to take an English and Mathematics Diagnostic Test. Students will be advised to the appropriate level depending on their score achieved.
Preparation for AEIS examination, as well as syllabuses in Mathematics and English to prepare students for the new academic year, are taught by qualified and experienced local teachers with good knowledge of current MOE syllabus.
After completing the course, students will sit for the AEIS or S-AEIS examination to enter Government schools.
Learning is done in a classroom environment. Teaching methods include class lessons, interactive tutorials and other in-class activities.
All students need to attend at least 75% of classes and to be eligible for a certificate of attendance. Students’ Pass holders are required to maintain an attendance of 90% and above to meet the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority requirement.
Monthly assessments are conducted.
Students will sit for the AEIS or S-AEIS examination to seek admission to government schools.

The Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) and Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students (S-AEIS) are centralised admissions exercises conducted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) for new international students who wish to join the mainstream primary and secondary schools.
The posting of a student is based on the student’s test performance, availability of school vacancies and the student’s intended residential address in Singapore.
The MOE will not accept any school choice requests or release test results under AEIS or accept school transfer requests.
While SSTC does its best to prepare students for the test, it cannot guarantee successful admission.
